Women are taught stitching and sewing skills to help them earn a livelihood in their respective communities. Amen Trust training centers are run where women are being taught stitching, sewing and knitting. These centers are located in the remote villages of West Godavari Dist. The aim is to empower rural women with technical training so that they can stand on their own feet and support their families. It is planned to provide them with raw materials so that they can produce as per orders obtained from local school, government bodies and commercial houses or shops. we strive to promote and develop good entrepreneurs and leaders. we will initially provide financial and other assistance.

The tailoring programme provides vocational training to women in stitching, embroidery and knitting. The centres run on mobile basis and post the completion at one location, needs assessment is conducted and a new village is identified for the implementation. Apart from sewing and tailoring, embroidery and basic knitting were also included in the programme so that the beneficiaries can utilize these skills in increasing their earning capacity. A six -month course, the best two students from the batch would be awarded sewing machines which would help them to initiate their income-generating venture. During the financial year, 2 batches of the training were done in two villages and 145 girls completed their six-month course. Further, 1550 youths have benefited by this programme .
Vocational training from AMEN helps students learn the skills they need to have success in their chosen field. Notably, this training is especially helpful for those who lack education due to poverty or discriminatory practices. This can be particularly true for female members of marginalized communities such as widows, divorcees and unmarried women.
